ATEX (Directive 94/9/EC) Explosion PreventionTÜV can assist your organization
in meeting the requirements Equipment manufacturers placing equipment intended for potentially explosive atmospheres must demonstrate that their equipment conforms to Directive 94/9/EC and must bear the CE Marking after July 1, 2003. Certificates of conformity under the old explosive atmosphere directives will cease to be valid. TÜV experts can assist manufacturers in classifying their products to zone and classification requirements found within the directive and, as a EU Competent Body, validate the products' design.
